Privacy Policy
The short version: this site collects your email only if you type it into a form, uses no advertising trackers, and never sells data. Here is the long version.
What this site collects
When you submit a form (the reader list, contact, or bulk orders), the information you enter is processed by Netlify Forms, the hosting provider’s form service, and stored so it can be read and responded to. That is the only personal data this site collects.
The reader list
Joining the reader list means your email address is stored and used to send you the content described at signup: articles, Day Zero, and occasional book news. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you use the streak feature on the daily page, your streak count is stored in your own browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
Third parties
Hosting and form processing: Netlify. Book purchases happen on Amazon under Amazon’s own privacy policy; this site only links there. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider receives your visits.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of any data you have submitted at any time. Use the contact form on the About page and it will be handled promptly. If you are in the EU/EEA, you additionally have the rights provided by the GDPR, including complaint to your local supervisory authority.
