Mog Terms Explained: Face Mog, Height Mog, Status Mog and the Rest

Here is the vocabulary as people actually use it, without the forum brainrot, and with the one distinction that matters: whether the comparison is against a stranger or against your own past self.

The core words

Mog, the verb: to outclass. Mogged, what happens to the other person. Mogger, the one doing it. He mogs him, I will mog you, mog or be mogged: all the same idea in different tenses, the last one being the forum slogan for treating every room as a ranking. It is used as a compliment, a taunt, or a joke, and most of the time the joke version is the one in play.

The category terms

Face mog: outclassed on facial features. Height mog: taller, usually the least contestable and therefore the most quoted. Frame mog: broader shoulders, better build. Status mog: outclassed on money, position or social pull rather than looks. Fit mog: dressed better. Each one names which category the comparison is being run in.

The forum abbreviations

LTN, HTN and MTN are forum shorthand for low, high and mid tier normie, a rating scale for ordinary people that the looks forums invented and that has leaked into mainstream slang. An LTN mog is a mog that lands even against someone rated low. This is the least healthy end of the vocabulary and the part worth understanding only so you can recognize it.

The only version worth using

Squads that sleep mog together. That is a joke and also the entire useful application: a group of mates comparing their own numbers to their own last month and coaching each other up. The stat is real, the ranking is against yourself, and nobody in the squad is trying to rate strangers. What does it mean to mog someone?
