Rizz Terms Explained: Rizzler, W Rizz, L Rizz, Unspoken Rizz and the Rest
The short answer: Every rizz term is a variation on one idea: rizz is charisma, specifically the conversational kind. The vocabulary grew fast because it is easy to bolt prefixes and suffixes onto a one-syllable word, and because short video rewards a new coinage every week.
Here is the set as people actually use it, plus the one distinction underneath all of it: whether the charm is a performance or real attention.
The core forms
Rizz, the noun: charisma in conversation. To rizz, the verb: to charm someone. Rizzing: doing it. Getting rizzed: being on the receiving end. Having rizz: possessing the quality. Rizz up: to successfully charm, usually said afterward. None of these mean anything beyond charisma; the grammar just multiplies.
The people
A rizzler is someone with a lot of it. A rizz god or rizz master is someone considered exceptional at it, usually said with a grin. Rizz king is the same with more irony. Being mid with rizz means average, from the general slang use of mid for unremarkable.
The scored forms
W rizz is a win: a smooth, successful moment. L rizz is a loss: an attempt that went badly or landed awkwardly. Both borrow the W and L from gaming slang. Unspoken rizz is charm without words, the idea that someone can attract attention just by presence, which is the slang's version of what older people called bearing. Chat is this rizz is the streaming-audience phrasing for asking whether a moment counted.
The joke coinages
Harizzment: rizz that crossed into unwelcome, a pun on harassment used to call out someone who mistook persistence for charm. Rizzlam: rizz as a religion, a pun that gets used for someone who takes it too seriously. Rizz intensifies is a caption format for a clip where the charm escalates. These are jokes, and they date quickly, which is worth knowing before using any of them in earnest.
What is actually underneath it
Strip every term back and rizz is two things: confidence, meaning not auditioning for approval, and attention, meaning being curious about the other person. Being charmed by someone, usually successfully. It is the passive form of the verb: someone rizzed you, so you got rizzed.
What does unspoken rizz mean?
Charisma that works without saying anything: presence, eye contact, ease. It is the slang version of what used to be called bearing or magnetism, and it is mostly used as a joke about someone who did not need to talk.
What does harizzment mean?
A pun on harassment, used when someone mistakes persistence for charm. It is a callout, not a compliment, and it names the line that flirting is not supposed to cross.
